CARE IT SOLUTION is looking for desktop support engineer, who can join immediately
we expect, BSc, BCA, BBA, B.Com and DIPLOMA candidates with 6 months - 3 years experience are eligible for the openings
Objective To provide technical support for Sage Products in a highly customer orientated manner via Field support, Phone, Fax and E-mail. THE WORK TYPICALLY INVOLVES:
- installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and more
- Installing, Configuring Windows XP Professional and Windows 7 as clients
- Creating Profiles to users for customizing desktop settings., Domain Set up
- Installation of client software like Microsoft Office, Java, various compilers etc.
- Installed and configured various applications Softwares Like MS Office, MS Projects and MS outlook for mails access and, Internet Explorer.
- Desktop Support up to Client Level including Hardware, Software and Networking Problems
- Installed, configured and maintained the regular updates of Antivirus.
- Installed, Configured and Troubleshooting of various PC Hardware Components.
- MSOutlook Configuration,
- Configuring & troubleshooting of LAN setup.
- Installation & troubleshooting of Local and Network printer.
- planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
- talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of problems
- responding to breakdowns
- investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
- repairing equipment and replacing parts
- supervising junior engineering and technical staff
- agreeing call-out timescales
- obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings
- ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- checking computer equipment for electrical safety
- maintaining records of software licences
- managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
- Shift and on-call work may be required, particularly where computing equipment is in continual 24-hour operation.
