	Accountant (finance, Accounts) Company:   Navis Experience:   2 to 4 yrs Location:   Chennai
	Job Description
	1. Accounts Payable Processing of vendor bills Knowledge about TDS and Service Tax Provisions Employee reimbursement claim processing and payment and travel expense settlement Preparation of monthly provision for outstanding expenses Following up with suppliers for invoices in case of advance payments 2. Handle - Books of Accounts  Fixed Assets records maintenance Reconcile all general ledger and bank accounts Bank Reconciliation Statements 3. Assisting the Sr. Accountant in preparation of monthly MIS Reports and answering queries related to those 4. Direct and Indirect Tax compliance Monthly TDS payments and preparation of workings Compliance documents for STPI. Preparation and Filing of Softex. Coordinating with clearing agents for clearance of shipments. 5. 	Desired Candidate Profile
	Education:   (UG - B.Com - Commerce) AND (PG - M.Com - Commerce, ICWA (CMA) - ICWA (CMA)) AND (Doctorate - Doctorate Not Required) Experience 2+ years of experience in audit firms / Multi-national companies Competencies: Knowledge of Indian GAAP. Experience working with international company. Strong communication skills. High integrity. Good written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills Good attention to details Knowledge in SAP would be an added advantage.
